Meet the team
Erin White
Center Operations Director
Erin is a former youth development leader and now the Center Operations Director at Downtown Silver Spring. Erin has lead her career with a social-emotional focused lens for creating better educational outcomes for youth. She brings that dedication with her to her operational work by creating human-centered systems and developing processes that engrain organizational values. Born and raised in the DMV, she has worked with children across the area and has intimate knowledge of the unique nature of youth development and education in the area. This knowledge inspired her to attend American University, where she earned her Master's Degree in Education Policy and Leadership. Erin has a strong passion for creating operational excellence to create a personal, high quality experience of care for both staff and children so that everyone feels valued and able to thrive. Outside of work, Erin enjoys reading, needle arts, and hanging out with her human and pet family members.
