Meet the team

Dez Espinosa, MBA

Center Operations Director

Dez was born and raised in Arizona and has lived in many other places across the US. Most recently, they made the move back home from Las Vegas, Nevada, to join this incredible community. They started their career in education over 12 years ago and often say that education truly found them. They have since become a passionate advocate for ensuring that all children have the opportunities they need to reach their fullest potential. Joining Soar is deeply personal for them. As a parent of children with autism, their lived experience shapes how they lead every day. Their goal is to cultivate a welcoming, supportive environment where families feel heard and the staff feels valued, empowered, and proud of the vital work they do. They truly believe that when staff and families support one another, the kids can thrive. Outside of work, they find immense joy in bringing people together through food, music, board games and exploring the outdoors.
