Clinician

Lead Clinician

Advance your ESDM skills and expertise through additional training, learning, and development.

Senior Lead Clinician

Begin the process to become ESDM certified and develop your skills.

Master Clinician

Finalize your ESDM certification and gain access to additional rewards and benefits for achieving this tremendous milestone.

Specialist Clinician Tracks

Clinicians at the Lead Clinician level and above have opportunities to pursue other leadership and development opportunities, including special projects and roles in training, operations, and specialist areas of focus.
RBTs can develop within their role or pivot to other areas within the company.

Start as a Behavior Technician (BT)

Kick start your work in Soar’s unique care model through intensive training and onboarding.

Become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Advance your ESDM skills and expertise through additional training, learning, and development.

Advance Through Multiple Levels

Soar’s RBT Career Progression and Assessment Program, Soar to New Heights, offers opportunities for raises and promotions for RBTs every 3 months.

Enroll in a Master's program for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

For those interested, Soar offers a comprehensive practicum experience for those interested in pursuing a BCBA certification, including the ability to start occurring hours immediately, clear practicum curriculum, and case supervisor positions for those further into their program.

Transition to Other Opportunities

Whether within Soar or outside of Soar, the skills of an effective RBT translate to many settings including communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving. Soar’s growing footprint provides many opportunities for RBTs to move into non-clinical roles over time.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Building excellence in ESDM practice

Field-changing expertise, impacting our staff's learning and development

From CEU sessions to small group learning, members of Soar’s clinical advisory board provide meaningful input to the design and implementation of our learning and development for our staff.

In-house ESDM training excellence

We designed specialized in-house ESDM training sessions and mentorship programs to enhance our staff’s skills, making it easy to apply knowledge to roles and ensure our staff remain at the forefront of autism care.

Yes. For our RBT, BCBA, OT, and SLP positions, you can be considered for all local centers in your area with one application. You are not required to submit multiple applications.

You do not need a license or certification for our RBT position. However, for all clinical roles (i.e., BCBA, OT, and SLP) you are required to have a license or certification that allows you to practice within the state of the center you applied to.

To allow new employees to acclimate to the ESDM care model, we start all new employees out on the same level. However, experienced new hires have the ability to accelerate their progression timeline.

Yes! You can still apply if you’re interested in a location that hasn’t opened yet. Typically, we have employees join an existing center then transfer to the new center once it is up and running.

Absolutely! Several of our team members joined without direct experience in ESDM. Soar ensures that all interested team members have access to ESDM training throughout their career progression.
