Why Working at Soar is Different
Founded by a medical family. Designed by clinical experts. Built for sustainable, high-quality care.
An Internationally Recognized, Naturalistic Model (ESDM)
Most clinicians already incorporate play into sessions. But there is a material difference between using play as a reward for completing rigid tasks, and using an NDBI framework where the play is the teaching structure.
At Soar, our model is built entirely around the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). Instead of forcing compliance through repetitive table-work, our clinicians use child-led play routines to naturally embed learning opportunities.
True Integrated Care (No More Clinical Silos)
In many healthcare settings, speech, occupational, and behavioral therapies exist in entirely separate silos. This separation can inadvertently push clinicians into isolation, making cross-discipline alignment feel like an uphill battle.
At Soar, we intentionally built a collaborative ecosystem where Speech (SLPs), Occupational Therapy (OTs), and Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) share the exact same clinic floor. Because our whole team practices within the play-based ESDM framework, our philosophies effortlessly match, giving you the collective expertise of a true multidisciplinary team without the pressure of having to be an expert in everything.
A Dedicated Early Intervention Focus (Ages 1–6)
We intentionally limit our care to children aged 1 to 6 because science shows the human brain is at its most neuroplastic during these early years. Our goal isn't to keep children in therapy for life; it's to deliver intensive intervention when it has the highest lifelong impact.
For you, this narrow focus means witnessing an incredible rate of progress while eliminating the exhausting daily task-shifting of switching mindsets between a toddler and a teenager in the same afternoon.
A commitment to Clinical Quality (The ESDM Standard)
We don't believe in checking boxes or coasting on "good enough" care. We hold our clinical team to exceptionally high expectations: our BCBAs are expected to write deeply meaningful, individualized programs, check in consistently with the RBTs they supervise on the floor, and actively evaluate their own work against the rigorous ESDM fidelity scorecard.
We do this because we are genuinely committed to redefining the standard of autism care. High accountability can feel daunting, but you aren't left to figure it out alone. We provide every ounce of multidisciplinary collaboration, operational relief, and leadership mentorship necessary to help you meet—and exceed—this standard.
Robust Clinical Support & Infrastructure
Because our roots are in family and medicine, we prioritize sustainable, high-quality care over sheer volume. We actively protect our team from corporate burnout by capping BCBA caseloads at a maximum of 8 clients and providing dedicated operational support to handle administrative noise.
We provide clear decision trees, structured mentorship, and an invested leadership team to guide you through your learning curves.
Meaningful learning and development
We support clear trajectories so you can grow alongside our expanding clinical footprints.
