FAQs
How can I verify if my insurance covers autism therapy services?
To verify your insurance coverage, please contact our admission team and have your insurance details at hand. We can typically verify coverage within a couple business days, and provide you with a comprehensive overview of your coverage, including any copays or deductibles that may apply.
What is the process for billing insurance for therapy services?
Once you have provided us with your insurance information, we handle the billing process directly with your insurance provider. After each session, we submit a claim for the services provided. You will receive a statement showing the amount billed, any insurance payments made, and any balance that is your responsibility (if any). Please keep us updated with any changes to your insurance to ensure timely processing of your claims.
I have more than one insurance plan, what should I do?
Please make sure to tell us about all active plans that the child is covered by. Having more than one plan can be helpful, and can reduce out of pocket costs for families by limiting the impact of deductibles, copays, or coinsurance.
Are there any services not covered by insurance, and how are they billed?
All of Soar’s services are covered by most insurance plans. However, in rare situations, we find that insurance plans may apply caps to care, for instance a cap on speech therapy or occupational therapy visits. In these rare instances, if a service is not covered, we will inform you in advance and discuss the cost and potential options. Our goal is to ensure you have access to the services you need without financial barriers.
How do I update my insurance information?
If your insurance information changes, please inform us as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted coverage of your therapy services. You can update your insurance information by contacting your center director for children already in service, or to our admissions team for children not yet in service. Providing us with timely updates helps prevent delays in service and billing issues.
